The Marshall Family Legacy

Ed '75 and Barb Marshall have spent a lot of time at Walsh Jesuit over the last 40 years. From Ed's graduation through their children's education; Steve '02, Matt '05 and Dasha '09 they are truly a Warrior household. Both Ed and Barb have supported the school in many ways. From booster club to the annual fund, capital campaigns and POWWOW, and countless volunteer hours their commitment to Walsh Jesuit is steadfast.

In addition to their generosity to date, Ed and Barb have made Walsh Jesuit a priority in their estate plans. When asked why it is important to continue a Jesuit education for others, Ed and Barb said, "Why not give others the ability to benefit from a great experience even if they are unable to afford to attend. We have three organizations involved in our plan, and Walsh Jesuit was the first one we thought of. Giving is a part of life, and we are fortunate to be able to help."

As Ed says, "Walsh Jesuit gave me the foundation for future success. Beyond its academic powers, it gave me an understanding of compassion, love and doing more for others. We considered it a blessing to send our children to WJ. The benefits are immeasurable!"
